The Journey Celebrates With 10,000!

The Journey again welcomed just under 10,000 people to Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg for the annual Celebrate America event!

Fireworks, bounce houses and the 4-story tall water slide, Slide-zilla, were the featured attractions. The Journey offered prizes, face painting, lawn games and synchronized patriotic music with the fireworks to cap off the night.

Journey General Manager Mike Weston said “this is one of the biggest events in Central Virginia and we’re proud to be a part of this annual tradition”.

The evening was also the debut of “Jay” the new mascot for The Journey Kids Club!
