Staff Changes at 104.9 The River

104.9 the River (WCVO Columbus) has launched a new leadership structure with dual in-house promotions. Josh Hooper, currently co-host of Mornings with Mary & Josh, as well as Production Director, will assume responsibilities over the on-air product as Program Director. Todd Amlin, currently a River Marketing Consultant, assumes direction of the Community Impact Team and Digital Team as Creative Services Manager.

Josh said, “Sharing Jesus is what we’re about, and I’m incredibly grateful to God for the opportunity to lead that effort through music, messaging, authentic conversations and transparency. Our on-air team is extremely talented, and I’m excited to work side-by-side with each of them, and our entire River team.”

Todd said, “To be able to collaborate with such insanely talented people, and to continue the mission of bringing  hope to Central Ohio is a blessing beyond measure.  I couldn’t be more excited to see what God has in store for us as a station, for Central Ohio, and for our entire family of Christian Music Broadcasters across the country!”

Josh will remain on the morning show and continue imaging copy writing and production, while Todd has already jumped into the worlds of digital and promotions, and will work closely with Josh and River President and CEO, Dan Baughman, on a variety of items ranging from station marketing to music selection, and representing the station within the CMB and the communities they serve.
