SPIRIT 105.9 Partners with Tauren Wells to Surprise 2020 Graduates

SPIRIT 105.9 (KFMK Austin, TX) teamed up with Tauren Wells and Christian Life Austin for a surprise no one is soon to forget! With all that’s going on in our world we knew Austin High School Seniors weren’t necessarily getting the Senior year they were hoping for. As a special way to celebrate the local 2020 High School Seniors, SPIRIT 105.9 created an on-air contest where listeners could nominate their graduate for the chance to meet Tauren Wells and for him to show up on their front door step to personally say congratulations!

Steve and Amy, from The Morning Show, led the surprise up to each winner’s door. Arms filled with gifts and hearts full of joy, Steve and Amy congratulated each winner with a Nothing Bundt Cake and praise for finishing their senior year of high school. To add in the surprise, Tauren Wells walked around the corner, with balloons and flowers to meet each graduate personally along with a $1,000 check to help get their freshman year in college started off right!

Tauren Wells spoke over each graduate – celebrating their achievements, praying for their futures and praising the Lord’s graciousness in their lives. We are so grateful to have had this opportunity to love on our local high school graduates! Thank you Tauren and Christian Life Austin for loving on them too!

Celebrating one another’s achievements is the SPIRIT of Austin.
