After missing their spring gift drive due to the coronavirus pandemic, The Promise-FM (Northern Michigan) went into this week’s fall gift drive with great faith, though not knowing what to expect. Executive Director Pat Scott said “We had great listeners Stand-in-the-Gap with us this summer, but we weren’t sure how they would respond to our Fall Days of Promise. A simple reminder in Ephesians 3 answered that question; Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us! By Thursday evening we not only hit our need, but God took us up and over. It was one of the largest outpourings from listeners in 35 years of ministry, setting the stage for “Vision Friday.” A generous donor, moved by the stories of hope, helped launch a $25,000 match for the growth of the ministry, both in terms of staffing and coverage. To God Be the Glory!
