Positive Alternative Radio’s WPER Welcomes Dwayne Harrison

Positive Hits WPER’s welcomes Dwayne Harrison as Operations Manager / Music Director.

Dwayne’s most recent assignment was Program Director at the former, New Life 91.9 WRCM in Charlotte, NC.

PAR VP and WPER GM, Frankie Morea, said, “This is such an answer to prayer. With recent staff changes we had this great need. God has sent the right person to help take WPER into the future.   Also, we’re thankful that Dwayne can once again work for local Christian radio. In a day and age when many local Christian radio jobs are disappearing, we’re happy to have him on our team where he can thrive.”

Dwayne commented, “During my time away I learned that it wasn’t radio that I missed, I missed serving God through radio. I’m so excited to be able to do a job I love and I’m honored that PAR would invite me to join their team. I’m looking forward to helping Positive Hits PER inspire Virginia families to live passionately for Jesus Christ.”

WPER serves Richmond and Fredericksburg, VA and surrounding areas.   WPER is part of Positive Alternative Radio.

Positive Alternative Radio owns and operates stations in important markets in Virginia, Tennessee, the Carolinas, Kentucky and Ohio. The stations provide adult contemporary and gospel music, as well as Christian content available across a variety of digital platforms.   In providing services to fellow Christian broadcasters and a weekly blog, “Dear Christian Radio,” PAR is dedicated to helping Christian communication ministries strive for excellence.
