Northwestern Media’s Life 107.1 Partners to Give Away Free Furnaces

February 26, 2020, Des Moines, IA – Northwestern Media’s Life 107.1 (KNWI – Des Moines) partnered with Service Legends to give away and install 30 furnaces during their “Warm Your Heart” initiative.

Life 107.1 asked listeners to go to their website between December 20th and February 14th and tell the story of someone who needed a new furnace. 247 nominations came in; a committee of Service Legends employees evaluated each one and eventually chose 30 people to receive the free furnace and installation.

Brian Leech, owner and general manager of Service Legends said, “Thank you Life 107.1 for helping us find the families who needed a furnace! And a big thanks to everyone who told us the story of a family who needed one. We love improving lives one family at a time! God is so good!”

Life 107.1’s Listener Engagement Director Jen Green says, “We are so honored Service Legends approached us to be a part of the Warm Your Heart program this year. It was a great fit for our generous community. We still tear up over some of the stories! It’s been such a blessing to be a small part of changing people’s lives for the better.”

Life 107.1 exists to lead people to Christ and nurture believers in their spiritual growth through Christ-centered media.
