Northwestern Media’s Life 107.1 Hosts Drive-Thru Baby Shower

July 25, 2019 Des Moines, IA – Northwestern Media’s Life 107.1 (KNWI – Des Moines) partnered with Agape Pregnancy Center, Bethany Christian Services, and Pathways of Pella Pregnancy Center to hold Life 107.1’s annual Drive Thru Baby shower on Thursday, July 25. Their event ran from 11 am until 1 pm at Prairie Ridge Church in Ankeny, Valley Community Center in West Des Moines, and First Reformed Church in Pella.

“Look at all these diapers and wipes! Life 107.1 listeners have no idea how much they are going to bless our clients with their generosity, especially with the diapers. They are so badly needed,” says Stacy Terrill of Agape Pregnancy Center.

People were able to come during their lunch break and drop off everything new or soon-to-be moms might need for their new-born babies, from diapers and wipes, to gift cards for grocery stores. At the end of the event, the total of everything donated for all three locations came to 5,368 diapers, over 100 packages of wipes, and $1521 in gift cards and cash.

Life 107.1 Listener Engagement Director Jen Green says, “The opportunity to work with one pregnancy center is great—but to work with three at once is spectacular. Now, moms and moms-to-be from three different areas of central Iowa can feel the love and support of our generous listeners.”

Life 107.1 exists to lead people to Christ and nurture believers in their spiritual growth through Christ-centered media.

How’s that working out for you?

What if you left St. Louis with an entirely new lens through which to view and act upon improvements in:

Let’s examine how this all connects together, but approach it from an entirely different angle. Don’t just think outside the box. Kick the box to the curb and start at zero.
