New Local Radio Station Launches in N. Rhode Island

Epic Light Network, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new 10,500 watt FM Christian music radio station designed to engage Northern Rhode Island with positive hit music and deep, local community involvement.  The new station, currently transmitted from Burrillville, RI officially launched it’s 24/7 Christian “Top 40” music programming to listeners on Wednesday, April 25, 2018.  The station is non-profit and supported by listener donations, business underwriting and charitable contributions.


Epic Light Network, Inc. currently owns and operates a 120-watt station, WYQQ-FM (The Q90.1), with a similar format in Charlton, Massachusetts for Worcester County.


“We are very excited to serve parts of Northern Rhode Island with Christian music offering hope & encouragement with on-air personalities that connect with Rhode Islanders about life, faith and community. THE Q91.5 will be sponsoring and partnering with local events to stay deeply involved in this community we’ve been entrusted with.” says Ryan Gagne, Station Manager of WYQQ /WSJQ .  “As someone who has lived in New England my entire life, this region will have this avenue of hope over the airwaves and we get to love on this new community we get to serve.”
