Sidewalk Prophets headline with special guest John Waller at The Bridge Family Reunion held at Denton Camp on Saturday, June 12. After more than a year without live concerts and large public gatherings, The Bridge expects a large crowd excited for LIVE music and family activities. Advanced ticket sales reveal concert goers traveling from Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Virginia–some guests are coming from as far away as Pennsylvania.
Ask their fans, and they will say Sidewalk Prophets are more than just music and entertainment–they are family. Their performances make everyone feel loved and valued. The goal is to make sure each person feels special.
Lead singer Dave Frey says, “we love performing.” See them perform LIVE and you get the impression that is the simple truth. “We also love the people we perform for,” he adds.
John Waller’s single “While I’m Waiting” became a hit after appearing in the movie Fireproof, which stars Kirk Cameron. The first song played on The Bridge was Waller’s “The Blessing.” His album, by the same name, reached 39th on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums. The same year, John Waller earned one of the ten “Faces to Watch” by the magazine. John Waller is a listener favorite on The Bridge, and venues fill every time he visits the region.
Denton Camp has a long history of refreshing the soul, renewing the mind, and readying believers for Christian service. The open-air venue offers guests facilities for themed camps, retreats, and weddings.
