Life 97.9 Listeners Warm Hearts This Christmas

KFNW/Life 97.9 listeners donated 685 non-perishable food items to the Tenth Avenue North “Decade the Halls” concert at First Assembly in Fargo, ND. The food items were donated to the Fargo New Life Center. The New Life Center is Fargo’s oldest and largest rescue mission.

Zach Wigginton, Fargo New Life Center’s Volunteer and Communications Coordinator said, “If we assumed that there are three servings on average in each canned food item, that means your food drive provided over two thousand servings of food!” Life 97.9 Listener Engagement Director, Carly Viland, said, “We’re so grateful for the Life 97.9 listeners and all that God is doing through their generosity. When they show up, they show up in big ways! Not only are they providing food for someone, they are giving them hope.”
