Life 88.5 Listeners raise over $4,000 to support victims of human trafficking

Monday, June 11, Life 88.5 packed out Linden Square in Kansas City with over 1,500 people for a free concert with Josh Wilson and Hannah Kerr. Life 88.5 listeners donated more than 150 gift cards, as well as cash totaling over $4,000 to benefit Restoration House of Greater Kansas City. Restoration House is a faith based, long term, residential program for survivors of human trafficking. Their mission is to provide hope and healing for victims of commercial sexual exploitation.

Restoration House Executive Director September Trible said, “The gifts will help survivors healing from the trauma and violence they have suffered by providing physical needs, recovery and addiction therapy, as well as education and job skill training.”
