Life 102.5 Celebrates 60 years of Ministry with Matthew West

2019 marks 60 years of ministry in Madison, WI for 102.5 FM. To commemorate the huge milestone, Life 102.5 cultivated an evening that celebrated their history and the faithfulness of donors and listeners alike. Over 1000 friends gathered at the Monona Terrace rooftop gardens on Thursday, August 15th, for a concert by Matthew West, featuring Leanna Crawford. There were also games and prizes, a Fun Zone, and cupcakes for all who attended. Prior to the main event, a private donor event honored those who play a key role in financially supporting the station. Greg Walters was presented with the Life Impact Award for over 40 years of faithful service.

Summer Shepherd, afternoon host and Listener Engagement Director, had this to say: “Seeing so many come together to celebrate God’s faithfulness was such an inspiring thing. Hearing the stories of those who have been listening for generations was such a valuable reminder that we are part of something so much bigger than us as individuals. This station matters to Madison, and Madison matters to us. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening.”
