Life 101.9’s Listeners Rally Together to End Hunger

Life 101.9’s Big Help for Hunger provided an opportunity for listeners to help restock food pantries all over Eastern Iowa. Over the course of three Saturdays, Life 101.9 held live broadcasts outside of Hy-Vee stores in Dubuque, Cedar Rapids and Waterloo. They asked listeners to donate non-perishable food items. In total, over 1,500 pounds of food, and nearly $600 in cash was donated!

Life 101.9 Station Manager Matt Deane said, “It is amazing to see Life 101.9 listeners get involved and show the love of Jesus in a practical way. Their efforts are providing much needed food for families all over Eastern Iowa.”
