LIFE 101.9 Collects 1,429lbs of Food for Local Food Banks

On November 16, Northwestern Media’s LIFE 101.9 wrapped up their Big Help For Hunger. Over the course of three weeks, they collected food for area food banks in Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and Dubuque. All together, LIFE 101.9 was able to collect 1,429 pounds of food and raise $580 for those in need in Eastern Iowa!

LIFE 101.9 program director Matt Deane said, “It’s so exciting to see LIFE 101.9 listeners coming together to be the hands and feet of Jesus by meeting the practical needs of families in Eastern Iowa.”
