KVNE Hosts Deliver Valentine’s Day Cards to Hospitals and Nursing Homes

Mike Harper and Carrie Parsons, the Morning Show hosts at KVNE 89.5, were among five groups of people delivering Valentine’s Day cards to people in the hospital and assisted-living centers in hopes of spreading the love.

The teams visited 19 facilities in six cities with Harper and Parsons stopping at East Texas Medical Center, Atria Willow Park and Meadow Creek Senior Living.

“It’s easy for people to see glue, glitter and construction paper, but we see a unique and special way to spread the love of Christ,” said Harper, KVNE’s vice president and Morning Show Host. “It’s a remarkable way for us to do just as He tells us: Be kind, compassionate and love each other. Over the years, we’ve seen the simplest cards with something like ‘I love you’ make the most significant impact. Never underestimate how God can use you for His glory, even with markers and crayons.”

Let’s examine how this all connects together, but approach it from an entirely different angle. Don’t just think outside the box. Kick the box to the curb and start at zero.
