100.7 KGBI (Omaha) listeners are bringing warmth to the Heartland. Listeners were invited to donate through the station’s “Hoodies for HOPE” campaign. Brand new hoodies were purchased and delivered to the station for use in the Winter Night Watch through the Salvation Army in Omaha and Lincoln, NE.
Winter Night Watch sees volunteers and Salvation Army personnel touring the streets of the cities during the coldest months of the year, offering a warm meal, clothing, and other resources to those living on the streets.
The KGBI family donated more than 550 hooded sweatshirts, along with dozens of hats, socks, and other items needed for braving a cold Nebraska winter.
