SPRINGFIELD, MO – Jake Moore, afternoon producer at Relevant Radio, is excited to announce the release of his new podcast “TruthPop” on the studioDNA podcast network. A project undertaken with his wife Cathy, TruthPop is a weekly half hour show that is best described as, “A young Catholic married couple passionate about connecting the faith and pop culture spiritually analyze your favorite pop songs on the radio and focus on what is good, true, and beautiful in today’s society.”
When asked this new project, Jake said, “My wife and I are beyond excited to start this new podcast adventure. As Catholics, we are passionate about evangelizing and showing the world that young Catholics are actually on fire for their faith, passionate about a personal relationship with Jesus, and excited about bringing about a positive change in our society. Jesus has touched my heart and shown me unconditional love and mercy, and I am beyond proud to use the TruthPop brand as an opportunity to share my Catholic faith in a bold, unique, and relevant way.”
Jake began his radio career in college while working at Shine.fm/WONU. He credits the staff at the Christian radio network for giving him a chance and believing in him at such a young age. “The experience I received at Shine was monumental and it was what generated my passion for reaching young people. I owe a debt of gratitude to Seth Hurd, Johnathon Eltrevoog, Brian Utter, and so many others for investing and equipping me for my ministry,” Jake has also voice tracked for stations such as Nash FM in Wisconsin, Pulse 101.7 in Des Moines, IA, Jam the Hype Radio, and he interned at 103.5 KISS FM in Chicago and the Wally Show on WAY-FM.
