iHeart launches contemporary Christian “Up” services in St. Louis and Ft. Collins. The St. Louis “Up 103.7” replaces the departed variety hits “Louie” format that was followed by a temporary all-Christmas format. The signal is translator W279AQ Mascoutah, Illinois, fed by the HD2 signal of KLOU/103.3. Note that iHeart doesn’t own the translator – it’s a lease from “K-Love” parent Educational Media Foundation. iHeart’s new “Up 107.3” in Ft. Collins, Colorado is likewise reported byRadio Insight – and it’s another translator deal. This time iHeart actually owns the translator (K297AK Loveland), which is fed by the HD2 signal of its KXBG Cheyenne, Wyoming/97.9. iHeart’s first “Up” was in Spokane, on KZFS/1280 and its translator, billed as “Up 99.3, Positive Hit Music.”
