Highly Rated Broadcasting Duo Joins Air1 Mornings

Air1 radio welcomes acclaimed morning broadcasting team “Dan and Michelle” to its lineup beginning later this month. Dan and Michelle Arthur join Air1 for mornings.

 

Dan and Michelle come to Air1 from Bonneville’s KYMX (Mix 96.1) in Sacramento, California, where they have hosted mornings for the past six years.

 

“We are thrilled to have Dan and Michelle join our team!” said Randy Chase, vice president of radio at Air1. “Their positive energy and past success of connecting with audiences in a positive and authentic way is exactly what Air1 need to go to the next level.”

 

Dangot into radio at a young age in his home of Medford, Oregon, and has worked in Las Vegas, Madison, Wisconsin (where he met Michelle), Omaha, Nebraska, and Sacramento. After 9/11, he enlisted in the Army Reserve and served a combined four years between the reserves and Army National Guard.

 

“I’ve been a fan of Air1 since I was a kid and to have the opportunity to be on the air with this wonderful ministry is a dream come true.” Arthur said. “We’ve had the opportunity to hang out with the leadership over the last couple weeks and we simply love their hearts and their passion for radio and of course, the ministry.”

 

Michelle began her careerworking in television as a meteorologist, reporter and anchor. But, shortly after marrying Dan in 2009, she got bit by the radio bug after they filled in together on a morning show in Madison, Wisconsin. They’ve been doing radio together ever since.

 

“This is truly a dream come true.” said Michelle Arthur.“I love Air1 and its mission and am proud to be joining the EMF family. A big thank you to Randy Chase and the leadership team for believing in us and for this incredible opportunity. We can’t wait to get started!”

 

Dan and Michelle will be on 3a – 9a PT starting in early November.
