Encouragement FM Purchases 4 Stations

Encouragement FM, along with our flagship station 89.5 KVNE, announces that it has acquired four radio stations in East Texas from East Texas Results Media. The stations that are joining the Encouragement FM family of stations include: 103.1 KMPA, 102.3 KLJT, 95.3 KFRO and 94.3 KZXM. Broadcasting is to begin January, 2020 on both the Bible teaching station The Well (94.3 FM and 95.3 FM) as well as on the Spanish Christian music station Fuzión (102.3 FM and 103.1 FM).

Troy Kriechbaum, President/CEO of Encouragement FM spoke on the importance of acquiring these 4 radio stations. “We have taken the bold step to launch a Spanish Christian music station that we are calling Fuzión so that our Hispanic brothers and sisters can worship the Lord in their heart language. For years, we have noted the tremendous increase of Spanish-speakers in East Texas. By 2022, Hispanics will be the largest population group in Texas. We were thrilled when God gave us this opportunity.”

The Well will feature solid Bible teachers communicating high quality, relevant Christian teaching in English to those who desire to go deeper in the faith walk and deeper into the Word of God. Combined with our market-leading, contemporary Christian radio station 89.5 KVNE, and our worship station 91.3 KGLY in Tyler, Texas we believe these new stations will enhance our ability to reach more people across East Texas with the love of Jesus,” commented Troy Kriechbaum, President/CEO of Encouragement FM.

Job application information can be found at cmbonline.org and kvne.com.
