ELEVATE512 held its’ first event on Saturday, March 13th. The Daddy Daughter Dance has become an annual tradition in Austin, TX and is hosted at the iconic Oasis on Lake Travis. This year, due to Covid, like everyone we had to pivot. Instead of three nights with 400 people in attendance each night, we had one day with four different event times and very limited capacity at each time to allow for social distancing to keep everyone healthy and safe.
“This event is so special to the Austin community and we felt it was really important to do whatever we could to make sure this event happened again this year. Our hope is that every daughter not only feels loved by her earthly father, but knows how loved she is by her Heavenly Father, as well as providing an incredible time for Dads and Daughters to make memories that will last a lifetime” said Lisa Keil.
This year’s theme was “Under The Big Top!” The event included carnival games, a magician, photo booth, carnival food, a live DJ, dancing, a popcorn/candy bar and ended with our epic balloon drop!
A special thank you to Luke Smallbone from For King & Country, Mark Hall from Casting Crowns, Matt Thein from IAM THEY, Colton Dixon, Matthew West, Austin French and Micah Tyler for sending words of encouragement to all the Dads! Thank you for making this event so special. We’re so grateful!
