LUFKIN/NACOGDOCHES –In December, KSWP/KAVX partnered with The Salvation Army during the End Of Year, Share-A-Thon. Donors helped fund the station’s operational needs and provided 248 meals.
During our Fall and end of the year events, KSWP/KAVX helped many in need. With families experiencing job loss and heightened levels of illness, helping to feed local families seemed the perfect fit. “We know that 2020 was a difficult year for many families it’s truly an honor to partner with agencies like the Salvation Army who are feeding the hungry every day,” said Al Ross, President of KSWP/KAVX.
“The Salvation Army is so excited to partner with KSWP/KAVX and we appreciate them helping to fulfill our mission of meeting needs in Jesus name,” said Captain Jennifer Phillips, Executive Director of the Salvation Army, Lufkin. “Through donations like this we are able to help many people in our community through our daily feeding program, thank you.”
