Danielle Perez to Join Eric Nichols to Co-Host the WBGL Afternoon Show

WBGL is excited to welcome Danielle Perez co-host of the afternoon show with Eric Nichols!

Danielle and her husband, Adrian, moved to Champaign, IL from the DeKalb, IL/Sycamore, IL area in June when he accepted a position as the Program Services Director with the Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club. Danielle had been working for about three years at Christian schools in the areas of admissions marketing, including social media, records, and the front office, and was hired by Judah Christian School in Champaign in June, where she’s been the Director of Admissions.

Danielle has worked in Christian radio at Moody Chicago, in college at Shine.FM, and through secular radio traffic reporting. She is a gifted communicator with an infectious personality and greatly enjoys encouraging and helping people. She’s also used her talents at other Christian non-profit organizations within promotions, event planning, and many things in between. Danielle says, “my heart has been pulled back to Christian radio many times over the years and it’s something I’ve prayed about for the last few years. I’m so excited to be joining the team at WBGL!”

Danielle and Adrian have been married for over ten years and they are blessed with a first grade son, Sammy, and third grade daughter, Isabella.

Eric Nichols, who came to WBGL in September from WTGN in Ohio after the departure of Randy and Monica in June, has been doing the afternoon show solo and is really looking forward to building a team show with Danielle.

Eric and Danielle’s first day on the air together will be Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018.
