After over 36 years at WCSG, Chris Lemke has decided to step away from his position as Executive Director effective June 15, 2021. He has a desire to assist other media organizations to excel in communicating Christ, and he believes the timing is right for him to move forward onto his next role. Cornerstone University is excited to see how God will lead Chris in helping other media outlets further the gospel of Christ. His next steps are still being finalized, but there is no doubt that the impact of his gifts and extensive knowledge of radio and media will be multiplied greatly as he serves and advises the industry of Christian broadcasting nationally.
We In his 36 years here at CU, Chris has served in various roles at WCSG including program director, general manager, and Executive Director. Among the many things that Chris has done in addition to keeping the financial base of the ministry strong, continued listener ratings in the top three stations in West Michigan, the new WCSG building is a wonderful example of Chris’ leadership in planning and fundraising, and it has allowed the station to reach hundreds of thousands of listeners each day in more effective ways.
Cornerstone University President, Joseph Stowell says, “We are so grateful for Chris’ many contributions to WCSG over the years. We look forward to how God will multiply his talents in many other organizations across the country. He will be missed!”
