95.1 SHINE-FM Celebrates Danny Gokey Release Week with Sold Out Free Concert

95.1 SHINE-FM joined in the Danny Gokey release week by hosting a free, ticketed “Pop Up Concert” for listeners. “We knew we’d need to ticket this free event and we weren’t surprised that 800 tickets were gone within a few short hours of opening them up to our listeners,” says John Lawhon, Program Director. “We held tickets aside so we could give tickets away every hour the day before the show.”

The Jack & Erin Show, SHINE-FM’s afternoon show, broadcast live from the venue, welcomed Danny on their show, and hosted a Q&A between Danny and the audience. Danny previewed music from his newest release, “Haven’t Seen It Yet.”

95.1 SHINE-FM and ministry partner 48Live Productions will welcome Danny Gokey back to the Baltimore metro area in the fall on his Hope Encounter Tour.
