88.3 WAFJ Hires New Afternoon Host

88.3 WAFJ has hired Kevin Davis as its new on air afternoon host. Davis will host 3-7pm weekdays and handle production duties for both 88.3 WAFJ and 88.7 SHINE FM.
“We’re very excited to have Kevin on board,” said Station Manager Steve Swanson. “His depth of experience and knowledge of broadcasting will complement our growing team of passionate Christ followers seeking to provide hope and encouragement to the CSRA and beyond.”

Davis brings 17 years of broadcast experience to our community, most recently as morning show host and program director at Guess FM, Memphis’ Greatest Hits in Memphis, TN. His experience includes a wide variety of radio formats, including Christian, classic rock, country and talk radio. In addition to broadcasting, Davis enjoys other “b” activities – baseball, beach trips, bicycling, burgers, barbecue and bass guitar.
