100.7 KGBI Welcomes New Afternoon Host

100.7 KGBI proudly welcomes Bruce Otto to the weekday lineup. Otto replaces Summer Shepherd in the afternoon drive. Shepherd will return to KGBI as midday host from noon to three weekdays after spending time off with her newborn twins.

“I’m so excited to be a part of the team at KGBI,” said Otto who moved to Omaha from Illinois in 2019. A married father of three (four if you count the 90-lb. Golden Doodle), Otto has experience in on-air and production work at WCIC in Peoria, IL, WMHK in Columbia, SC, and, KLJY (Joy FM) in St Louis. He has also served as a pastor for the past several years.

“Bruce brings years of experience and a heart for local ministry,” said Jeremy Tracey, KGBI Program Director. “The listening family is going to truly enjoy driving home with him.” Otto will host the Afternoon Unwind with Bruce from 3-7 pm weekdays beginning Monday, August 24th.
