Franklin, Tenn. – K-LOVE, the parent organization of leading Christian radio networks K-LOVE and Air1, is teaming up with Trans World Radio (TWR) to bring positive and encouraging Gospel-oriented content to most of the world. The venture brings together two organizations that have been reaching people with God’s message for almost 120 years combined. Together, the ministries hope to reach up to 190 countries with a special emphasis on countries that are closed or restricted to Christian missionary efforts.

TWR is an international Christian media ministry with local ministry teams around the world, broadcasting biblical programming in more than 200 languages and dialects. This collaboration will bring together K-LOVE’s trusted, positive and encouraging radio brand with TWR’s international reach and relationships across 190 countries, linking more people around the world to the hope of Christ and opening new territory for the Gospel through the expansion of Christian radio, particularly for unreached people groups and strategically significant locations. TWR’s local ministry teams will adapt K-LOVE’s content for each culture and language, so it connects with people in their own context and heart language. K-LOVE will also be growing its Spanish-language ministry through K-LOVE Global.

“We believe God has brought these two ministries together to help move more people closer to Jesus by combining our strengths, expanding our reach, and creating more opportunities for lives to be transformed,” says K-LOVE Chief of Staff Dr. Bobby Wood, who has extensive missionary experience. “Together, we are seeking to make a greater impact than we could alone, advancing the mission of sharing Christ’s love with those around the world that need to hear it the most.”

“K-LOVE excels at music and encouragement, and TWR has spent over 70 years reaching people in their own language with local teams around the world. Tom and the K-LOVE team understand that cultural differences matter, and that ministry in someone’s heart language is how you reach them with the love of Christ,” says TWR President Andy Schick.

“We believe the Lord used the founders of K-LOVE to create something really special by combining the passion and encouragement of talented disc jockeys with incredible music that resonates with a large portion of the population who might not otherwise tune in to a religious broadcast,” says K-LOVE CEO Tom Stultz. “When we realized we could extend our positive and encouraging messages on a global basis, we knew we had to pursue it. We are delighted TWR is as excited about this as we are. Our combined mission is to make Christ known where He’s not known.”

K-LOVE launched its first international outreach in 2025 by providing its content to existing radio ministries in Italy, Zambia and Lithuania. K-LOVE plans to raise initial funding for this initiative from supporters with a particular interest in reaching more people for Christ through international radio expansion.

Meanwhile, K-LOVE is excited to announce that Ed Lenane has been appointed Vice President of K-LOVE Global. K-LOVE Global will be focused on expanding the reach and impact of K-LOVE around the world. Ed is a perfect fit for this role, with almost 30 years at K-LOVE and industry experience at nearly every level, including internationally. Reporting to Dr. Wood, he will collaborate closely with K-LOVE’s primary international partner, Trans World Radio, while also exploring other ways to spread the hope of Christ around the world. He will assemble a Global team drawn from internal departments to assess opportunities and accomplish the goals of this expansion.

Two Christian radio personalities in St. Louis have earned recognition in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch STL Headliners awards.

Joy 99.1 (KLJY) afternoon co-host Kim Underwood and BOOST Radio (KXBS) morning host DJ NTEG have both been named among the Top 5 finalists in the Best Local Radio Host category.

The annual STL Headliners awards invite readers to vote for their favorite local personalities and businesses across a variety of categories. Final-round voting is open through July 26, with winners scheduled to be announced on September 27.

Beginning June 1, listeners across Northwest Kansas and Eastern Colorado noticed a new sound on local radio stations as Great Plains Christian Radio expands its footprint through the acquisition of 14 former Praise Network stations.

The newly acquired stations will now feature updated music and programming designed to bring encouragement and hope to listeners throughout Northwest Kansas and Eastern Colorado.

KJIL, broadcasting Contemporary Christian music, will now be heard in Hays and Great Bend at 88.9 FM, as well as Colby and Goodland at 107.7 FM. In addition, KJIL programming will reach numerous communities with community stations across Northwest Kansas and into Eastern Colorado—stretching from Interstate 70 to the Nebraska border. Jeremy Rosado and Dr. Joel Hunter Join Z88.3 on Easter Morning for the 49th Annual Easter Sunrise Service at SeaWorld Orlando!

Orlando, FL – HE IS RISEN! HE IS RISEN, INDEED! This was the awe-inspiring cry heard from thousands in attendance at Z88.3’s 49th annual Easter Sunrise Service. The service, which was hosted by Shadow and Grace from Z88.3 Afternoons, was free to the public and held in the Bayside Stadium at SeaWorld Orlando.

A combination of Z listeners from all over Central Florida and tourists from countries around the world gathered together before sunrise to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The service has become an annual Easter tradition for families from across the globe.

This year’s service gave attendees a reason to celebrate with incredible worship led by Jeremy Rosado and a powerful, hope-filled message delivered by Dr. Joel Hunter. Jeremy, who first gained national attention as a finalist on American Idol and later on The Voice, led worship with authenticity and passion, drawing from his journey of faith, family, and calling. Dr. Joel Hunter, a respected Central Florida pastor, community leader, and bridge-builder, shared the Gospel message.
