WHAT IS THE MISSION & VISION OF YOUR PODCAST?
More than Small Talk began with a dream to bring 3 authors, speakers, and real-life friends together to share meaningful conversations. Each week, Suzie, Holley, and Jennifer invite listeners to join the conversation in the “4th chair.” As Suzie says: “Our mission is to go deeper with women on issues that matter to them. Our vision is to create a safe place to do that.” From the outset, KLRC viewed its over-the-air radio platform and its KLRC Podcast Network as copartners in distributing the compelling content of More Than Small Talk. Recorded and produced at KLRC, the long-form expression is consumed on-demand as a podcast, while smaller, bite-sized content is featured on the radio as short devotional spots. Both distribution expressions serve as promotional tools for each other as radio listeners are invited to explore the podcast, while the worldwide podcast audience is exposed to KLRC’s radio ministry. What started as an experiment has proven to exceed expectations and impact many lives, including Brittany and

“I got a new job that I will start in a few weeks and my commute will get a bit longer. I wanted to use my time wisely, so I’m going to go through some reruns of the More Than Small Talk podcast. I figured out how to connect it with Bluetooth from the KLRC media player to my car’s speaker. Thank you for keeping all of the reruns posted online! I will be looking forward to the drive every day now!”
Brittany, Arkansas
“I heard about the podcasts you offer from some girlfriends. They helped me download the app and I have listened to music and podcasts since then. We love the message we hear from KLRC. Thank you!”

WHAT IS THE MISSION & VISION OF YOUR PODCAST?
What are you naturally good at? And how do you use those talents to give back to the world? That’s the Passion Meets Purpose Podcast! Through story-driven conversations, Sarah Taylor hosts guests who share how they found their unique, God-given “sweet spot” in the world. Sarah’s intelligent and lighthearted approach puts her guests and listeners at ease. One recent listener said “I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed this podcast…it reminded me of a situation I am in right now with my adult son. When you were talking about serving others, it and how it makes you feel, it reminded me of myself. I just want to say thank you for this podcast, you had me crying in the car on the way home and laughing as well.” The Passion Meets Purpose podcast serves to highlight guests in the best possible way. Through well thought out research before the interview and careful listening on Sarahs part, the goal is two-fold: to make sure the guest takes the spotlight and their story shines as brightly as possible, as well as for the listener to go deeper in their faith, asking God “how did You uniquely make me?” – and take the next step of faith as God leads them into a deeper understanding of their true identity! Previous guests include: Olympic Figure Skater Scott Hamilton, Lauren Daigle, John Mays, Mark Canlis (owner of award-winning five-star restaurant ‘Canlis’) and author John Eldridge, to highlight a
few.
Sarah chose the Brandon Heath episode to submit because she feels it best represents the balance of storytelling, research, humor and faith woven together. Enjoy! (And she thanks you for the
nomination!!)
Lastly, Sarah wants to say she fully supports the nomination of “What Else? with Corey Mann” because she often will collaborate with Corey on show-prep notes and listen to his previous episodes as prep for her own interviews. So as much as she would love to win, she also tips her hat to Corey because he paved the way!

WHAT IS THE MISSION & VISION OF YOUR PODCAST?
They say you should never talk about religion or politics, and sadly much of Christian radio has been pushed into that box. That is why God created Podcasts! The Wally Show Podcast, hosted by Wally, Betty Rock, and producer Gavin, posts two episodes a day. The first is a full replay of that morning’s show so people can keep up with the show on their own timing. The second is called the Aftercast. The Aftercast is original content that has not been aired on the radio version of the Wally Show. The Aftercast was created for people who like the Wally radio show, but want more connective, long form, and authentic content that can’t really be done in 2 minute radio breaks. We affectionately call the people who listen to our podcast “Poddies.” They are people who truly get the sense of humor of the show and are OK with a passionate, but not always eloquent, rant from Wally on whatever has got him riled up that day. Christian radio tends to round off the edges of real life content. The Aftercast is a place that doesn’t shy away from honest conversations about difficult life discussions, and how we as believers can be relevant in the world while not being of it. They are not afraid to discuss hot button topics from identity and gender to abortion and elections. However, the focus of the Aftercast is humor, so that colors the discussions. The Aftercast is not cookie cutter Christianity, but is does stand for truth and biblical principles. It is a place where questions are encouraged and judgment is reserved. One listener put it perfectly: The Wally Show isn’t like church, it’s like hanging out in the parking lot with your friends after church.

WHAT IS THE MISSION & VISION OF YOUR PODCAST?
Northwestern Media’s mission is to lead people to Christ and nurture believers in their spiritual growth through Christ-centered media.
In an increasingly crowded marketplace of media and entertainment, the competition for attention is almost endless. For those of us in Christian media, the stakes are high. We can’t lead people to Christ and nurture believers in their spiritual growth if they aren’t watching or listening to our content. As a result, we are always looking for the most effective means of communicating the Gospel.
Working under the umbrella of Northwestern Media’s mission, we made the decision to launch The Unfolding podcast for two primary reasons. 1) God wired the human brain to remember and respond to well-told stories. Jesus is our example. He often used stories and parables to communicate powerful truth. 2) Christian media is in a unique position to tell the best stories on the planet. We get to share life-changing, marriage-resurrecting, healing, hope-giving stories about a miracle-working God. We believe when listeners hear these stories, they will experience an increase in faith that God can do the same and greater in their own life. Listening to The Unfolding is a faith-inducing experience.
The mission of The Unfolding podcast is to tell real-life God stories in a manner so compelling, that listeners will experience deeper faith in Jesus.
Each week on The Unfolding we share true stories of how God uses the events and experiences of someone’s life to transform their faith. Since the launch of the podcast, we have seen ample evidence that God is using these stories to change lives. Below are a handful of the more than 80 reviews shared on Apple Podcasts:
Cajenbell, 03/07/2020
I have been listening to all of these testimonies and each one helps me see a little more like Christ. I love the Lord and try to live Christlike but I didn’t realize how I much I was holding onto hurt and shame for things in my past until listening to these testimonies. Now I am letting go, forgiving and trying to let God show me how to use my experiences to love and help others. I also realized I had been limiting Gods grace for those that I felt deserved it. After listening to the testimony of the gal that talked about addiction and losing her children I felt God showing me that I am bitter towards my sister who did all of that, and I need to show her grace and love her right where she is and quit judging her. I just want to say THANK YOU for sharing all of these testimonies! It’s been life changing for me. I am changed! I am definitely walking closer to the Lord and trying to love like Him and see through His eyes!!

Unfolding changed my life!
I am not an adult but I just wanted to let you know that you are not just effecting the life of adults, but also younger people. I sometimes feel far from God but when I listen to these impactful stories, it makes me want to be like the people who followed Jesus even through their hardships. So thank you for this podcast!

Life changing Podcast
This podcast truly is life changing! It is my favorite podcast of all time. I am a (not very emotional) man and each episode has me crying. I listen to it every day after reading The Bible over a cup of BOLD3 Coffee. I tell everyone about it and am eternally grateful for the incredible work the team does in putting these stories together in such a high quality format. The hand of God and Holy Spirit is clearly at work here. Nothing is more powerful than hearing true stories of God working in people’s lives. Praise Jesus, The King of Kings! Acts 1:

Power of Gods Love for Us
God is so faithful to us even when we are unfaithful to him. He loves us so much, he pursues us when we wonder. Feeling lost and overwhelmed, I found a local Christian radio station advertising the Unfolding podcast. I gave it a listen thinking it would just be another podcast to fold laundry to. Wow I was way wrong. It was a podcast that I have frequently cried too. That I have found my heart breaking for the touching stories of wonderful guests. It has also set my heart on fire for a greater love for Jesus. Thank you.

What a blessing!
So grateful for the interview’s Meredith does that feel like cozy, conversations that talk about faith stories. They are warm, inviting and always make me feel closer to God and learn about new ways He works in our lives. Stunning and so important 💕
Just a couple of emails from listeners:
I wanted to let you know, God used you, and a beautiful series of events to quite possibly save my marriage through the unfolding series, only, with a twist (He seems to do that often). I wanted to just drop you a line and say thank you, thank you, thank you I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, God spoke to me through you and that podcast. It still gives me chills. Just know the work you’re doing is working.
Hi Meridith! First, I wanted to say I absolutely love your podcast. I can’t wait for Friday’s for new episodes and get so sad when there is a break.. lol I tell everyone about it. I just want to say thank you for sharing everyone’s stories. Through them I found my way back to God and my relationship with him is better than ever. I can seriously say I trust him completely!

WHAT IS THE MISSION & VISION OF YOUR PODCAST?
In March 2018, this was my description of the podcast, “The goal for this podcast is to make it feel like a couple friends getting together, having a great conversation and going a little deeper than surface level with Christian music’s artists.” Instead of me trying to explain how it has evolved, these are actual words from listener reviews.
“Corey Mann’s “What Else?” podcast is quickly becoming a fan favorite, thanks to Corey’s talent for asking great questions & his original content. In each episode, he interviews a different Christian artist, asking them questions that truly get to the heart of who they are and what their music is all about. As a result, his listeners get an inside look at the artists they love, hearing stories & learning about their faith journey that they can’t get anywhere else. Corey’s passion for music & his easy-going demeanor puts his guests at ease, allowing them to open up and share their stories in a way that is both fun and informative. His genuine love for music shines through in each interview, making “What Else With Corey Mann” a must-listen podcast for any fan of Christian music.” “There are interviews, and then there are Corey Mann “What Else?” interviews. No matter how much I think I know all about a CCM artist these days – Entertaining, funny and very heartfelt – I hear over & over again, a podcast guest of Corey’s say “wow, no one has ever asked me that!” “What Else?” is appointment listening for me every Monday morning.” – Chris Hauser
“When it comes to interviews in the CCM industry, Corey Mann is in a league-of-his-own. Most often he has the first take on a new record or the exclusive introduction of a new artist. It’s obvious that Corey enjoys his guests, & wants them to shine. You can feel the chemistry because Corey is so adaptable to different personalities, which puts the listener at ease. He was first in the game (before Podcasting took off) and his consistency is unparalleled. Corey researches, directs, edits and produces, and hosts each episode with care.” – Sarah Taylor
