Great Things Planned

God has great things planned for your show in 2018!

You can start your show today knowing you have a security in your life because you have a personal relationship with God that keeps you fueled! You were chosen because of your heart for your community. You have a relationship with your creator that gives you extra strength and wisdom. You have a friendship with the one who restores and heals your past. You have the privilege of using your story to connect with the broken hearts in your city. You have a God that wired you up with special giftings & talents. You matter to God and you matter to your city! God has given you a fresh platform this year to be an encouragement to your community. Your show matters today, so ask God how you can shine his heart and frame his story in a fresh new way.

If this year has felt like a series of attacks instead of a season of growth, rest in the fact that God works in spite of your circumstances and shortfalls. God promises to “heal the broken hearted and bind up your wounds.” Some of the challenges you have dealt with recently can be used on your show as part of your story. You have a fresh platform to reach into some lives that the church hasn’t met yet. Great stories and encouragement always connect.

In Psalm 3, King David wrote about fleeing from his son Absolam who setup a conspiracy against him.

He wrote: “Lord, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me! Many are saying of me, “God will not deliver him.” But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain. I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me. I will not fear though tens of thousands assail me on every side. Arise, Lord! Deliver me, my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked. From the Lord comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people.” (NIV)

Remember Psalm 3 when you feel like life is making your radio show feel difficult. Go back to the heart of  encouragement and share it with others. It’s a great re-set every time! Choose to be an encourager!
