Brant Hansen is a toast-obsessed nerd who, when in high school, was no less than PRESIDENT of the Illinois Student Librarians Association. He was also All-Conference in “Scholastic Bowl”, and lettered in basketball and football (both for keeping statistics) and was President of his own Stamp Collection Club, which consisted of himself.

He’s also an “Aspie” – diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome as an adult. And he’s happy about it.

Brant works full-time for CURE International, a network of hospitals serving the poor around the world. He’s also a radio host. In his spare time, he walks his three-legged dog, Nigel, while looking inappropriately intense. He can’t help it.

He is a Christian with a distaste for religion. He’s under the impression there was no religion in Eden, and there won’t be any in Heaven, either. Thank God.

Brant is also a husband and dad, and he’s won multiple awards for his radio skills and is typing all of this himself, and putting it in third-person in hopes that it seems more impressive that way.

Paul Jacobs is a leading radio consultant, specializing in digital and mobile, sales development, and research. He is the Vice President/General Manager of Jacobs Media, which for over thirty years has provided programming, digital, and social media consulting to radio stations. The company is credited with the creation of the Classic Rock radio format, and most recently, its innovative technology tracking surveys – the Techsurvey for commercial radio, Public Radio, and Christian Broadcasters. The studies provide invaluable information to broadcasters about the digital, social, and mobile trends they need to address, including pushing the industry to respond to challenges in the “connected car.”

Jacobs has become a leading spokesperson for the radio industry regarding the changing in-car audio experience. He works with the auto companies and suppliers, and understands the implications for the radio industry. Along with presentations for broadcasters on this important trend, Jacobs also hosts the DASH Conference – a gathering of broadcasters and leaders from the automotive industry designed to foster understanding and cooperation.

In a career in broadcasting and consulting that spans over thirty-five years, Jacobs began his career on the sales side of the business, working at and running radio stations in Dallas and Detroit. In 1991, Jacobs joined his brothers Fred and Bill at Jacobs Media. The company provides consulting to many of the leading broadcasting companies across America and Canada, and various public radio stations, NPR and PRI.

In 2008, Jacobs also became the President of a new mobile application development company – jacapps. The company was formed in order to create apps for radio stations, and has since broadened out into multiple categories, including health care, real estate, and others. It is one of the largest mobile application developers, with over 900 apps developed worldwide for major broadcasters including Entercom, Greater Media, Cox, and many others.

The Randy Lane Company was launched in 1996 with the mission of, “creating brand depth for radio stations by developing morning shows that generate ratings and revenue.” Randy created an innovative method for coaching talent that was inspired by his coaching mentor Timothy Gallwey (Inner Game of Tennis). This method focuses on asking the right questions combined with an honest and ego preserving way of giving feedback so the talent has ownership of their growth.

Randy’s radio career began as a DJ in college where he became fascinated with Top 40 morning legends Rick Dees and Scott Shannon. He was having so much fun on the air (Mornings, middays and afternoons) that his parents kept asking when he was going to get serious about his career path! After ten years of too much fun on the air, Randy brings the perspective of a Program Director at Star 98.7/KYSR Los Angeles where he created the first successful major Modern AC, Q101/WKQX Chicago, and WRQX/Washington D.C.
