Carl Fletcher spent his life creating innovative ways to excite students about broadcasting. He was Director of Broadcasting in Olivet Nazarene University’s Department of Communication as well as an Assistant Professor. He also served as Operations Director for Shine.FM (WONU). One of Carl’s greatest desires was to see his students join the ranks of successful alumni influencing the world for Christ through the radio industry.
On November 7, 2015 at the age of 45, Carl passed away suddenly. He is survived by his wife, Camille, and four daughters as well as many students who treasured their mentor.
To honor the man who inspired a new generation of broadcasters, CMB created the Carl Fletcher Scholarship.
The purpose of this scholarship is to financially enable Broadcasting/Communications/Media professors wishing to accompany their students to Momentum at a supplemented rate of $299. The Carl Fletcher Scholarship Fund will cover the remaining balance.
