Ian Morgan Cron – Author and Pioneer of the Enneagram • @iancron
Ian Morgan Cron is a cultural pioneer of the Enneagram, bestselling author, psychotherapist,
Dove Award–winning songwriter, and Episcopal priest. His books include the novel Chasing
Francis and spiritual memoir Jesus, My Father, the CIA, and Me. Ian draws on an array of
disciplines—from psychology to the arts, Christian spirituality and theology—to help people
enter more deeply into conversation with God and the mystery of their own lives. He and his
wife, Anne, live in Nashville, Tennessee.
At his core, Ian is a storyteller; he weaves his knowledge into narratives that illustrate, rather
than merely instruct. His stories engage the imagination and speak to the skeptic and believer
that live within all of us.
Ian is a pioneer of the Enneagram, an ancient personality typing system that identifies nine
types of people and how they relate to one another and the word. The Enneagram is a powerful
tool for understanding why we behave the way that we do, and how our motivations are largely
determined by personality. It provides a framework for how we can begin to live into our most
authentic selves, and also reveals the wisdom that each personality type can offer to others.
The Enneagram is therefore not just a powerful tool for personal growth, but also an ongoing
journey of transformation that we can take with our families, co-workers, and faith communities.
For this Gold Member Retreat, Gold Members have the opportunity to bring a non-industry guest, for a cost of $200 (non-refundable).
